Before the [Homecoming] Games Begin

Unfortunately, the video I created for you all had no sound, so be looking forward to a vlog next time. But....
Open House was on Saturday. I was excited to see so many future Eagles. It made me think of getting more involved, which I cannot wait for next semester to start so I can try some new things because I want to get involved more with dance. Unfortunately, I have to wait until next semester to try out for whichever group I want to join. At least I can spend this time checking out each one to decide which one fits my dance styles the most and make sure my grades are together.
This week all of the Homecoming 2010: Redemption [www.nccuhomecoming.com] events officially begin. I am excited I bought tickets to all the events. Even if I do not go to all of the events I still somehow saved money. I wanted to get all my work done this week ahead of time, so I wouldn't have anything to worry about, but of course that will not happen. Once again it is all about time management, which I am still working on. Overall this week should be fun and exciting once I get my work out of the way... which will happen eventually.
Last week we had some cool pre-homecoming events, like 10:40 Break at night and late night breakfast. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:40 am til about 11:30 no one has class. Sometimes there is a DJ outside of the Student Union at this time, but it is a time that can be used for relaxing, sleeping [my favorite], meetings, seeing professors or anything else you can think of. But last week we had 104:0 in the morning and had 10:40 at 10:40 pm on the practice football field. It was pretty much a party.
The Alphas [Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.] came out during Thursday night's 10:40. There was also a little bit of probating, but I was told most of the Greek organizations will come out during the Spring. The Zetas [Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.] put on quite a show for their probate and it was right behind my residence hall [Ruffin... also known as the good life for Freshmen :)] I wish I could elaborate on the whole probate etc, but as a Freshman of course I do not know too much about Greek life yet. I just know it is something exciting even if you do not know anyone crossing [completing the process joining a fraternity or sorority].

Clearly Things Can Get Crazy

I have no idea why I summed up certain things by saying it was just crazy. I guess it was crazy.

Quote of the week: "Eagle Pride.... Amplified. Aggie Pride Died. Eagle Pride is immortal"
- Don't exactly know by who, but I love saying it in the presence of an Aggie.
